This is the snow man I made on illustrator, I made it by making different shapes and using gradients. 

I researched an art called “Dada art” which is basically making a photo montage, I was given a task to make a dada image with me in it, it had to have some sort of humour in it. The top image shows my final image that I came out with, there are also some screen shots to show how I did it. 

Discussing Exporting Data

 In this essay I will be talking about the different ways to export and store your work. There are many different ways such as:

·      Cloud online storage

·      Network drive

·      Internal hard drive

·      External hard drive

·      USB stick

·      SD cards

·      Flash compact

·      Mini DV

 

Cloud online storage

The cloud network is a free online storage network for people to use.  It was made by Google so that people could access there photo’s, documents, videos and so on, from anywhere in the world with internet.  There are some up sides and pros and cons with the network though. The cloud is a fairly new network.  I wouldn’t really use this as I wouldn’t like going onto the internet all the time just to access it, it seems to me that it would take a while to log in when I want to access it straight away. Another reason would be if the college would block the website or not.

 

Pro’s

·      You can access the network anywhere in the world that has an internet source.

·      Companies only need to pay for the storage that they actually use and not any extra that they don’t use.

·      People do not have to install and devices into their computer

·      People don’t have to carry anything around with them

·      People cant physically lose the device

 

Con’s

·      You cant access it unless you have the internet

·      If you go to a presentation, and you don’t have the internet you wont be able to access the work

·      There is a risk of virus’s

·      There is a risk of people being able to hack into the network

·      It travels to a wide area network in stead of a local area network

·      It might be slow

·      Your work may be stolen if someone hacks into it

·      College might block the website

·      Would have to log in which would take up time

 

 

Network Drive

A network drive is a server in the network that is shared by multiple computers, it is often used in schools, colleges, offices and so on.  The network drive has a massive amount of space on it which is cut into sections so each person with a log in to the network has a certain amount of space on the network drive.

This is the final channel Ident that I made for my college assignment which was titled ”Channel Idents” I chose CBeebies for my channel as I had some great idea’s for the stop frame. Another reason why I chose CBeebies was because I knew that CBeebies used a lot of stop frame animation in their shows.
